IFDS Chartwell OEIC

It’s impossible to forecast which asset class will deliver the highest returns in the short, medium and long term. So in order to hedge your risk from over-reliance on a single asset class, you need a portfolio that gives you exposure to a basket of asset classes.

A multi-asset fund manager does it all for you. Fund managers use their experience and expertise – first, to choose the assets they believe will generate the best returns and, second, in order  to minimise risk, decide how much of your money to invest in each asset class. Diversification is investments ‘golden rule’, and the IFDS Chartwell OEIC extends the traditional combination of equities and bonds to other assets which may include money market instruments, structured products, indirect investment in property, and alternative assets such as private equity and hedge funds.

Our experience shows that this diverse approach to investment provides investors with the optimum balance between risk and return.
